Causes of unhappiness in human beings
Once upon a time there was a king, he was unhappy and could
not sleep at night. He used to watch a poor man and his family from his palace
window. They were always happy even
though they didn’t have any money or luxury items.
One day the king asked
his advisor, why the poor peasant lives a
happy life and sleeps well. The advisor said give me a day; he will be unhappy too.
The advisor put, 99 gold coins by the bedside of the peasant while he was sleeping. When
the peasant woke up, he found 99 gold
coins. He counted them numerous time and became unhappy because someone took one gold coins from him. He asked his wife
and son if they took the missing gold coin.
The peasant started working hard to buy another gold coin to
make them 100 gold coins. He was unhappy every day because it was not easy to buy gold
coins. He could not sleep and be constantly accusing his family of stealing or
letting someone else steal the coin while he is sleeping.
